I attended the LTUE Symposium last week. I didn’t get to stay for the book signings on Saturday, but I did have two glorious days of SciFi/Fantasy writing heaven infused into my brain. And there IS always next time. 😉 I’ll blog my thoughts and so forth later – too much to sift through on a Monday morning.
However, I do want to share a picture book with you. It’s been around for awhile, but somehow I had never heard of it, so I thought maybe someone else might have missed it too. It’s a great book by Tony Fucile, the animator of Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and other great films. Once again the illustrations are fantastic, and the story delights anyone who appreciates the wonders a great imagination can bring. The book is called, Let’s Do Nothing!
Sal and Frankie have done everything under the sun they can think of and are in need of something new to do. Clever Sal comes up with the idea to do NOTHING… and the results are hilarious. Check out the thirty second trailer:
You can read an interview Tony did concerning Let’s Do Nothing! RIGHT HERE.
